Blairstown Farmers’ Market
Where local folks get their local food!

The Foodshed Alliance Farmers’ Access Network welcomes you to the 15th season of the Blairstown Farmers’ Market. Dedicated to bringing consumers and farmers together, this one-of-a-kind market will feature locally grown foods, all grown and/or produced in our beautiful area. Special market events throughout the season include cooking demonstrations, live music, and children’s activities.

The Market fulfills a major role in the Foodshed Alliance Farmers’ Access Network’s mission to develop a local food system, where eating locally and seasonally is the first choice. Executive Director Kendrya Close explains, “We want to provide all residents in our area with a centralized location to obtain fresh, locally grown and produced food all grown by our farmers. Doing this while meeting your neighbors and helping to support your local farming community makes for an ideal family-focused experience!”

Embarking on our 11th year, we welcome back vendors with organic vegetables, fruit, meat, baked goods, eggs, honey, prepared foods and all of the fantastic products you have all come to love and rely on.

The market now accepts EBT/SNAP (food stamp) benefits. Simply bring your SNAP card to the Foodshed Alliance table. The Market Manager will swipe your card for the amount that you want and give you Market tokens that can be used to buy groceries from stands at the market. We also have a grant to double your SNAP dollars (up to $20 per visit) that can be used to purchase produce.

The Market, located on Route 521 across from the Blairstown Elementary School, runs every Saturday from 9:30am-1pm from June 1 through October 29, 2022.
