Foodshed Alliance Farmers’ Access Network welcomes you to the Blairstown Farmers’ Market!
Dedicated to bringing consumers and farmers together, this one-of-a-kind market features locally grown foods, all grown and/or produced in our beautiful area. Special market events throughout the season include cooking demonstrations, live music, and children’s activities.
The Market fulfills a major role in the Foodshed Alliance Farmers’ Access Network’s mission to develop a local food system, where eating locally and seasonally is the first choice. We want to provide all residents in our area with a centralized location to obtain fresh, locally grown and produced food all grown by our farmers. Doing this while meeting your neighbors and helping to support your local farming community makes for an ideal family-focused experience!
We welcome vendors with organic vegetables, fruit, meat, baked goods, eggs, honey, prepared foods as well as local crafters and creatives.
The market is located on 5 Stillwater Rd. across from Blairstown Elementary School, running every Saturday from 9:30am-1pm from May through November.
Foodshed Alliance Farmers’ Access Network
The Foodshed Alliance Farmers Access Network LLC (FAFAN) operates the Blairstown Farmers Market. FAFAN is a subsidiary of the nonprofit Foodshed Alliance.
The mission of FAFAN is to build a locally resilient food system. The market is based on core values: direct farmer-to-consumer interaction; food grown via sustainable growing practices which respects the people, the land, and our communities; and quality, nutritious food which promotes the viability of small family farming, enhances the local economy and protects our valuable agricultural lands.
